HTML5 image map capability

Do HTML5 viewers have image map capabilities like the Flash viewers do?

Solution

The HTML5 SDK does support image maps that any viewer (zoom, fly-out, spin, and so on) can use. The component is called the "ImageMapEffect." You can find documentation of how to use this component in the SDK.

In Scene7 Publishing System (SPS), only the eCatalog viewers have this functionality enabled.
