Error "Parameter mediaMargin.leftMargin=-100 out of range | Scene7

Why don't PDF margin commands allow negative values for FXG 2, but they do for FXG 1? I get the following error message:

"Parameter mediaMargin.leftMargin=-100 is out of range. Allowed values are 0 to 1000' is displayed when using a negative value with an FXG2 document."

Solution

This change is intentional. In FXG 1.0, there are some limitations with the implementation of printer marks, as they did not always conform with Acrobat behavior. In FXG 2.0, Adobe has implemented printer marks so that the user’s experience is the same as in Acrobat.
