Use the Filters panel to search for assets, folders, tags, and metadata. You can search parts of a string using the wildcard asterisk.
The Filters panel provides various options to search for assets and folders in multiple ways rather than in a generic taxonomic order.
You can search based on the following options (predicates):
- File type
- File size
- Field name
- Last modified
You can customize the Filters panel and add/remove search predicates using search facets. To display the Filters panel, perform these steps:
The Filters panel helps add more granularity to your search experience and makes the search functionality more versatile. You can easily drill down to the desired level of detail.
For example, if you are looking for an image, use the File Type predicate to choose whether you want a bitmap image or a vector image.
Use the File Size predicate to search for assets based on their size. You can specify the lower and upper limits for the size range to narrow down your search. You can also specify the unit of measure, for example Kilobytes, Megabytes, and so on.
If you are managing work-in-progress assets or monitoring a review workflow, you can search for when an asset was last modified based on accurate time stamps. For example, specify dates before or after which assets were modified.
Use the Status predicate to search for assets based on various types of status, such as Publish, Approval, Checkout, and Expiration.
For example, when monitoring asset publishing, you can use the appropriate option to search for which assets are published.
When monitoring the review status of assets, use the appropriate option to find which assets are approved or assets that are pending approval.
Use the Insights predicate to search for assets based on their usage statistics obtained from various Creative apps. Usage data is grouped under the following categories:
- Usage score
- Media channels where the assets appear
