OutOfMemoryError in PermGen space

Symptom

CQ5.3 instance is getting java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space exceptions in the logs.

Resolution

Add -XX:MaxPermSize=128m JVM parameter via CQ_JVM_OPTS variable in the CQ start or serverctl script.
