Fix crash issues with InDesign 15.1.2 on macOS

Learn how to troubleshoot and fix crash issues when you use the text tool in InDesign 15.1.2.


When you are working with the text tool in InDesign 15.1.2 on macOS 10.14 or previous versions, the InDesign application crashes. 


You can troubleshoot by using the below steps and try to fix the issue. 

  1. Relaunch the InDesign application. 

  2. When you get a Download Fonts dialog while launching application, choose an option to download the fonts without skipping this step. 

  3. If you are working on macOS 10.14 or previous versions, Adobe recommends that you update your Operating System to macOS 10.15. See How to update the software on your Mac.
