How do I suppress the default analytics beacon?

To Suppress the default beacon, go to your Property and Click on the Tools Tab, then  click on the Analytics Gear. When this opens click on "Customize Page Code" and then "Open Editor". In here you will need to add the code "return false;".

If you only want to suppress this default beacon on certain pages, you will need to add some sort of coding logic around the 'return false;' statement to accomplish the desired behavior.
