Choose Control Panel > Programs > Programs And Features.
Issue
When you try to license a trial installation of Acrobat Pro, you receive the following message:
“This serial number supports <XX> language. Please launch Acrobat in <XX>..."
Serial numbers have a primary language associated with them. The serial number you are using doesn't match the language of the application. The primary language of the serial number is noted in the error.
Solutions
Solution 1: Reinstall Acrobat.
- Choose Control Panel > Programs > Programs And Features.
- In the list of programs, select Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, and then click Uninstall or Remove.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
- Reinstall Acrobat Pro and use the serial number you purchased.
- During installation, choose the primary language of the serial number as the language to install.
Solution 2: Change the application language.

In the list of programs, select Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, then click Change.

Click Next on the first setup dialog box, then choose Modify and click Next.

Expand the Languages option in the list of features.

Click the icon next to the primary language of the serial number, and choose "This feature will be installed on local hard drive."

Click the icon next to the language you were using when the error occurred, and choose "This feature will not be available."

Click Next, then click Update to install the missing language.

When the installation is complete, click Finish.

Hold the Ctrl key while you double-click the Acrobat XI icon on the desktop or in the Start menu.

Choose the primary language of the serial number from the menu, and click OK.

Enter your serial number when prompted to license the product.
The Primary language is the non-English language of the serial number. All Acrobat serial numbers support US English by default. For US English serial numbers, English is the primary language and the only language supported.
