The Adobe Presenter 7.0.5 update addresses a number of issues across the entire product. Adobe recommends that all Adobe Presenter 7 users apply this update. Areas of focus for the 7.0.5 upgrade are listed here:  The latest release of Adobe Presenter, 7.0.6, supports Microsoft Office 2010 (32-bit edition). Support for the 64-bit version of Microsoft Office 2010 is planned, but is not available at this time.

Determine your version of Adobe Presenter

  1. Open PowerPoint, and then click the Adobe Presenter tab.
  2. Click the arrow under Help, and then click About Adobe Presenter.

Install the update

  • If your version of Presenter is 7.0, 7.0.1, or 7.0.2, then follow the instructions at This process is a step upgrade, so you first apply the 7.0.1 update, then the 7.0.2 update. Then you install the 7.0.5 update, followed by the 7.0.6 update. These updates are quick and don't take more than 10 minutes to complete in total. 
  • If your version of Presenter is earlier than 7.0, then uninstall it and proceed with the installation instructions below.
  1. Go to your Connect Pro Central by logging in to your Adobe Connect account URL. 
  2. From the home page, click the Resources tab. 
  3. Click  the Getting Started box, as shown below.

  1. Under the second tab of Publish Presentations, click install Adobe Presenter.
  2. Save the file and then run it.

Additional information

If you receive an error that the patch cannot be installed on your version of Presenter when doing a step update, then uninstall Presenter. Reinstall it following Step 1 above. Once Presenter 7.0 has been reinstalled, proceed with the step update installations of 7.0.1 through 7.0.6.
