At some point, you may want to know what port or server you are connecting to when you access a Breeze meeting. This may be valuable for troubleshooting client-side connectivity issues or cluster failover.

In order to get the RTMP connection string for your Breeze Meeting session, you will need to:

  1. Log into a Breeze Meeting.
  2. Click on the Help menu at the top of the Breeze Meeting room.
  3. Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking on "About Breeze Meeting".

You will get a connection string that will show you the Breeze server domain, the protocol, and the port you are connecting on.

An example of the full string would be:

rtmp://ps-breezewin2.macromedia.com:1935/%3Frtmp%3A%2F%2Fps%2Dbreezewin2%2Fmeetingapp%2F7%2F21008%2F

Where (in this example):

rtmp is the protocol you are using to connect to Breeze Meeting. This stands for Real Time Messaging Protocol.

ps-breezewin2.macromedia.com is the FQDN of the Breeze server.

:1935 is the port that you are connected on.
