Acrobat does not recognize active subscription and shows a start trial or trial expired message

Problem: Adobe Acrobat fails to activate even though you have a valid subscription

When you launch Adobe Acrobat, you encounter one of the following errors even if you have a valid active subscription.

Solution: Confirm if your Adobe ID has a valid subscription

  1. In Acrobat, select Help and check if you're signed in with the correct email ID that you've used to purchase the Acrobat subscription.

  2. Select Sign Out if you're using a different email ID.

  3. Launch Acrobat and use the correct email ID to sign in.
