Experience the elements on the Home screen designed to provide access to creative app shortcuts, personalized suggestions aligned with your Creative Cloud plan, recent files reflecting your activity, and quick-start options for Adobe Express and Adobe Firefly.
Personalize your Home screen
Personalize your home screen by adding shortcuts for all the desktop and web apps in your Creative Cloud desktop plan. This allows you to open them quickly and efficiently for seamless access.

Select the Account icon in the upper right, and then select Preferences.

In the left sidebar, select Home.
Click on this "Home" option within the sidebar.

Do the following:
- All apps To set shortcuts for all your apps, turn on Show shortcuts in Home.
- Specific apps To choose shortcuts settings for ithe individual apps, turn on Show shortcuts in Home, and then select the shortcuts needed for each app.

When finished, select Done.
Note:
This feature might not be available for Teams and Enterprise users.
Suggested
The Suggested section of the Creative Cloud desktop app prompts you to update your apps one at a time, all together, or automatically. Updating your apps to the latest version gives you access to the latest features and improves app security and stability.

Open the Creative Cloud desktop app. (Select the icon in your Windows taskbar or the macOS menu bar.) Depending on your Creative Cloud desktop app version, the system prompts you to update your apps.

If your apps are not updated, the system prompts you to update your apps. Click Update now.

To enable automatic updates, click the ellipsis () icon on the right sidebar under Installed apps and toggle on the button for each app.

Click Update all to manage all updates simultaneously.

Recent
The Recent section displays the most recent files that you've worked on. You can browse, search, and preview these files within the desktop application.

Navigate to Go to Files to view the files available under Cloud Documents, Your Libraries, Lightroom photos, or Adobe Express Projects. The photos under Lightroom will eventually open in its desktop app.

Click the ellipsis () icon on the thumbnails to unveil a menu of options such as Open, Rename, or Delete. Select the desired action..

From the settings on the right of the Recent folder, you can sort the file structure based on the Name (alphabetical order), or Modified date. In the following illustration, the file structure is sorted alphabetically based on the Date Modified.

Click the filter icon adjacent to the thumbnail icon to filter the files. Select one of the options Everything, Your files, Shared with you from the drop-down to filter as per your requirement. You can also enter any keyword to filter your search.
Start a project on Adobe Express
Adobe Express is a comprehensive design, photo, and video tool that simplifies content creation. On the Home tab, you'll find a shortcut for Adobe Express, providing a convenient way to navigate quickly and perform actions efficiently.
Use the following tips to navigate seamlessly within Adobe Express:
(I) Start from your content - To initiate the creation process from scratch, hover your mouse over the thumbnail and click Create from scratch. A new file will open in Adobe Express. Alternatively, you can explore Adobe Express templates by clicking Browse templates.
(ii) Instagram square post - Create your social media content directly, starting from scratch or browsing through templates.
(iii) Flyer - Generate high-quality flyers with just a few clicks creating from scratch or selecting from various flyer designs.
(iv) Instagram story - Enrich your Instagram stories with compelling content either starting from scratch or selecting from templates.
(v) TikTok video - Effortlessly produce video content for TikTok. Resize your video to the optimal dimensions for TikTok with a single click.
(vi) Logo - Generate your own logos in a matter of minutes, or choose from various templates to effortlessly craft your own free logo.
(vii) Facebook - Make stunning Facebook posts by starting with professional designs or creating them from scratch.
(viii) Instagram reel - Create and edit captivating video content using free, customizable templates in just a few minutes.
(ix) Instagram carousel - Carousels offer a fantastic and user-friendly platform for creative individuals to showcase their talent artistically. Whether you prefer crafting Instagram carousels from scratch or exploring templates, the process allows for a seamless and visually pleasing presentation of your content.
(x) Poster - Facilitates effortless design of various digital poster sizes within minutes and provides access to professionally crafted templates.
(xi) YouTube thumbnail - Craft professional YouTube thumbnails effortlessly either starting from scratch or using templates.
(xii) YouTube video - Create your own, unique, custom videos for YouTube easily in minutes using templates or creating them from scratch.
(xiii) Video - Create your own stunning videos effortlessly within minutes.

Start creating with Adobe Firefly
Unleash your creativity with Adobe Firefly. The prompt button makes it incredibly easy to generate artistic content. Once you have entered your prompt, Adobe Firefly will use its AI capabilities to interpret your prompt and generate a visual representation based on it.
