You can create and modify keyboard shortcuts in Animate.
Select (Windows) Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts or (Macintosh) Animate > Keyboard Shortcuts .
The Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box appears.
Keyboard Layout Presets
Lets you choose a preset of predetermined shortcuts from the drop-down, or any custom set you may have defined.
Search
Lets you search for any command whose shortcut you want to set or modify. Alternatively, you may drill-down the command within the tree view of commands.
Match Case
Lets you perform a case-sensitive search of the command.
Add
Adds a new shortcut to the selected command. To add a new keyboard shortcut for the selected command, click Add and enter a new key combination. Each command can one keyboard shortcut each; if a shortcut is already assigned to a command, the Add button is disabled.
Undo
Undo the last set shortcut for a command.
Copy to clipboard
Copy the entire list of keyboard shortcuts to clipboard of your Operating System.
Go To Conflict
Navigates to conflicting command. In case of a conflict when setting up a shortcut, a warning message is displayed.
Save shortcuts to a preset
Save the entire set of shortcuts to a preset. Preets can then be selected from the Keyboard Layout Presets drop-down.
Delete Shortcut
Deletes a selected shortcut.
You cannot use single keys such as delete or page up, ones that are pre-defined for some generic tasks such as deleting content, page scrolling, etc.
If a conflict occurs with the key combination (for example, if the key combination is already assigned to another command), an explanatory message appears just below the Commands list. Click the Go To Conflict button to quickly navigate to the conflicting command, and change the shortcut.
