Deploy and activate Adobe Muse in an enterprise

Note:

Adobe Muse is no longer adding new features and will discontinue support on March 26, 2020. For detailed information and assistance, see Adobe Muse end-of-service FAQ.

Package, deploy, and activate Adobe Muse

Adobe Muse is available as part of the Creative Cloud Team, as well as Creative Cloud for Enterprise (CCE and EEA) offerings. You can deploy Adobe Muse in a managed environment easily using the Creative Cloud Packager.

With the introduction of Creative Cloud Packager version 1.5, the packaging and deployment workflow of Adobe Muse for Team and Enterprise users has been further streamlined. It does not require the provisioning workflow anymore.

Please see the Creating or editing packages article for help with creating a package for deployment using the Creative Cloud Enterprise serial number.

Muse for Enterprise users no longer requires a separate serial number and is serialized using the Creative Cloud Enterprise serial number following the above process.

Launch Adobe Muse after activation

Once the commands above have completed successfully, activate Adobe Muse with the Adobe Muse serial number and launch it as a subscribed version using any and all valid Adobe IDs (with or without subscription associated with the same). Follow the below steps to launch and use Adobe Muse after activation:

  1. Launch Adobe Muse.
  2. At the Welcome Screen, choose the first option Sign In to An Existing subscription.
  3. Enter any existing valid Adobe ID and its associated password. Or, create an Adobe ID and sign in.

Adobe ID no longer required

Previously, in contrast with other applications under the CCE or EEA license installed using the Enterprise serial number, Muse required a valid Adobe ID to launch successfully. That is no longer the case.

Muse requires a valid Adobe ID in order to link to the Adobe Fonts and Business Catalyst services, which are tightly integrated with Muse. It does not use the Adobe ID to validate subscription or ownership of license, but it checks the Adobe servers to verify that the Adobe ID entered exists and can be safely linked to Adobe Fonts and Business Catalyst services.

Optionally, signing into the Creative Cloud grants access to publishing a trial site under the Business Catalyst hosting platform.
