  1. Do one of the following based on your current view:

    • In the Projects view, click New.

    • In the Authoring view, select File > New.

  2. In the Create New Document dialog, select Schedule from the type menu.

  3. Enter a title for the schedule, and click Create.

  4. Select one or more scripts for which you want to create the schedule. Use Shift-click to select scripts in a sequence or Ctrl-click to select multiple, non-contiguous scripts.

  5. If you have selected just one script, you can select the scenes that you want to schedule. Use Shift-click to select scenes in a sequence or Ctrl-click to select multiple, non-contiguous scenes. If you select a block of scripts (multiple scripts), Story creates the schedule for all the scenes in the selected scripts. If you do not select any scenes in a script, Story creates a schedule using all the scenes in the selected script.

  6. Click OK to generate the schedule.
