Note:

Issue

When you install a serialized package created in the Creative Cloud Packager for InDesign CC 2015 and InCopy CC 2015, and you have deselected the option to install the Creative Cloud desktop app, you receive the following error on the first launch of the product: 

Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of Adobe Creative Cloud from http://www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp.

"Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem" error message

When the user clicks Quit, the application closes. Subsequent launches are successful, and the application can be used. However, the error reoccurs for every sign-in session.

Solution

This issue has been resolved in the latest version of Creative Cloud packager. When prompted, download the latest Creative Cloud Packager and use it to create the package again.
