Better portrait mode
With the magic of AI-powered algorithms, Photoshop Camera can detect subjects in complex scenes and lighting conditions more accurately while capturing portraits.
To capture portraits and other photos using Photoshop Camera, do the following:
- Launch the app to enter the viewfinder mode. By default, the in-app camera opens front-facing.
- Double tap anywhere in the viewfinder mode or tap
to flip the camera. - Tap the lens icon (
) to browse through the list downloaded lens effects. Tap a lens from the carousel to apply. - Once you are happy with your settings and lens effects, tap the shutter icon to take your photo. Tap the cancel (
) icon to exit the applied lens. - Tap the Photo Preview icon and find your photo under PsC Studio. The PsC Studio acts as a temporary workspace used to edit lens effects and share your photos.

Essential camera utilities
Follow these quick steps to access essential camera utilities before capturing a shot:
- Open Photoshop Camera app to enter viewfinder and point your camera to the subject you want to capture.
- In viewfinder, you can now enjoy essential camera features like Lens Switch and Timer for compatible Android devices to capture the perfect shot.
- Lens Switch: You can now switch to one of the available physical lenses in the camera.
- Timer: You can now set a timer and adjust your subject accordingly before taking the perfect shot.

Photoshop Camera comes with an amazing collection of magical lenses to choose from.
