Frequently asked questions for Windows 8.1 compatibility with Adobe Creative Cloud, Creative Suite, Acrobat, and Flash Player applications
Adobe and Microsoft have worked together to test Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite 6 applications for reliability, performance, and user experience when installed on Intel-based systems running Microsoft Windows 8.1. Currently there are no known issues. Adobe Photoshop CS5, CS4, and CS3 were also tested with Windows 8.1, and currently there are no known major issues.
As with any new release of an operating system, unexpected issues could arise that were not discovered during testing. If you encounter any issues, report them using the bug reporting form.
At this time, only Adobe Flash Pro CC, build 13.0.0.759, requires an update for compatibility with Windows 8.1. All other versions of Adobe Flash Pro are supported.

When attempting to install an Adobe Creative Cloud application on Windows 8.1 using Internet Explorer 11, you could encounter a plug-in warning. Adobe has found no other significant issues with running CC, CS6, or Acrobat products with Windows 8.1.
Adobe Flash Player was built in to Internet Explorer on all versions of Windows 8, and updates are distributed via Windows Update. Support is available in accordance with Adobe's standard support terms for Flash Player at www.adobe.com/support and http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html.
