In Adobe Story, free form documents are documents that do not enforce formatting restrictions on the writer. You can create the following free form documents in Adobe Story.

  • Character biography

  • Logline

  • Pitch

  • Research

  • Summary

  • Synopsis

  • Other document

Groups for some document types are created in the Projects view after you have created a document for that group. For example, when you add a Logline for the first time to a project, a Logline group is created in the Projects view. All future Logline documents are listed under this group.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • In the Projects view, click New.

    • In the Authoring view, select File > New.

  2. In the Create New Document dialog, select the free form document you want to create from the Type menu.

  3. Type a title for your document, and click Create.

Use the formatting toolbar to format free form documents.
