Recolor your vectors with the Firefly web app

Make your sunsets “a cool spring day” or your flowers “a psychedelic rainbow bouquet.” With your text prompts and Generative Recolor, you can unlock endless color combinations in seconds.

  1. Go to the Generative Recolor feature in the Firefly web app.

  2. Upload an SVG file or select a sample asset from the gallery.

  3. Describe a color palette and select Generate.

    Tip:

To write an effective text prompt, stick to simple and direct language and use 2-8 words. For example:

    • Rustic autumn glory
    • Ocean breeze blue green purple
  4. Select the image you like from the generated results. Alternatively, try rewording your prompt to get something closer to what you want, or select Refresh to generate more images.

  5. Use the Firefly Control Panel to upload a different SVG file, try some sample prompts, and try variations of a generated result by selecting a base color and applying pre-set color harmonies with the Harmony feature. You can also preserve or recolor black and white colors in your image.

    Note:

Selecting a sample prompt generates a new set of re-colored outputs based only on the sample prompt.

  6. Hover over an image for more options.
