[Windows only] Plug-in configuration changes in InDesign version 18.4 and above

Starting with InDesign 18.4, InDesign will not allow the exclusion of Adobe-supplied plug-ins. The user needs to confirm whether the exclusion is intentional or accidental.

You'll view the following dialog whenever the product has been configured to disable the loading of Adobe-supplied plug-ins.

  1. Select Accept if you don't use any third-party plug-ins.

  2. Select Ignore if you use third-party plug-ins. This would honor the plug-in settings.

Shows the message displayed to Accept or Ignore the Adobe supplied plug-ins.
