Update the plugin
Update your plugin to its latest version and relaunch Illustrator. You can contact your plugin developer for more guidance.
Repair Visual C++ DLL (Windows)

Right-click Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (2012-2017) and select Repair.

Restart Illustrator.
Reset preferences
Reset your Illustrator preferences and restart Illustrator.
Launch Illustrator as an administrator
Launch Illustrator in safe mode
Launch Illustrator in safe mode to diagnose the cause of the crash. Follow the steps in the Safe Mode dialog and fix the issues.
Remove the plugin
Do one of the following:
- If your plugin developer has provided you with an uninstaller, use the uninstaller to remove the plugin.
- If there is no uninstaller, navigate to the following location, and delete the plugin file:
- macOS: /Applications/Adobe Illustrator 2023/Plugins.localized
- Windows: C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator 2023/Plug-ins
- macOS: /Applications/Adobe Illustrator 2023/Plugins.localized
If you had changed the default installation location for Creative Cloud applications, navigate to that location to delete the plugin file.
