Do my Creative Cloud apps run in Windows 7?

Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7. To take advantage of the latest operating system features, Creative Cloud apps don't support Windows 7 anymore.

Are Creative Cloud apps compatible with Windows 7?

Windows 7 is no longer a supported operating system for Creative Cloud apps released from October 2020 onward. Our development efforts are focused on more modern and supported versions of Windows. So, there will be no further development, testing, bug fixes, or patches for Creative Cloud on Windows 7.

What if I can't upgrade my operating system?

If you want to use Windows 7, Creative Cloud 2020 apps (released in October 2019) continue to be available. However, you can't install any future updates released from October 2020 onward. You will need to install all of the latest Windows Updates from Microsoft to continue to use this software.

Starting July 14, 2021, you can no longer run Adobe apps on Windows 7 devices that don't have Internet Explorer 11 and Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 updates from Microsoft.

Adobe continues to offer support to customers with valid support entitlements, unless the problem is isolated to Windows 7. We recommend that you run your Creative Cloud apps in an operating system that both Microsoft and Adobe support.
