How to feature your brand or corporate logo on a billboard by utilizing Adobe Stock footage clips in Premiere Pro.
Search on Adobe Stock
Search for green screen billboards on Adobe Stock.
On stock.adobe.com, use the search bar to select Videos, and then search for “green screen billboards”.
Add the Adobe Stock Clips you want to a custom library.
Note: You can also search and license directly inside Premiere Pro within the Libraries panel.
Import your clip
Bring your Adobe Stock green screen clip into Premiere Pro through the Libraries panel.
Locate your Libraries panel (its default position in the Editing layout is in the same window as your Media Browser).
Find the custom Library dropdown menu, and choose the location where you saved your clip. In this example, we made a Library called Green Screen.
Place the green screen clip on your sequence
Drag and drop green screen clips into your sequence.
Count the number of screens you will key out, and move the Stock clip to a video track equal to that number, plus one. In this case, we have 17 screens, so we’ll move our stock clip to V18.
Apply the Ultra Key Effect
Use the Ultra Key effect to easily key out the Stock green screen.
Drop the Ultra Key effect onto your green screen clip in the timeline.
With your clip selected in the timeline, choose the Effect Controls panel in the Source window.
Locate and select the eyedropper tool in Effect Controls and click the green chroma key color in your Adobe Stock clip on the Program Monitor.
Layer and adjust your footage
Place your animated logo on the timeline, on a video track below the green screen clip.
Select your clip in the timeline and click on the Effects Control. Click once on Motion to select it, which gives you a bounding box around your footage in the Program Monitor. You should see your footage, on the vintage television, where the green screen used to be.
Grab the corners of your bounding box, and drag them to roughly fit the billboard.
Clone your own footage on the first 15 Video tracks, and like above, use Motion to scale and position them behind each screen in the clip.
We’ll fine-tune each clip in the next step.
Skew your logo
In the Effects Panel navigate to Video Effects > Distort > Corner Pin and drag and drop the effect onto the first video track where you need to skew the image to match the billboard.
With that video track selected, click on the Effects Controls tab in the Source window.
Open up the Corner Pin controls and select each corner: Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Left, Lower Right, dragging the corner into position over the corresponding billboard.
Skewing your logo to exactly match the angle of the billboard really sells the chroma key effect, and will give your audience the feeling that the logo was displayed on each billboard in real time.
Play the video
Tap the spacebar to play your video through. Check for pacing and for any necessary copy edits.
Export
Export your video with a Premiere Pro preset for social media or desktop presentations.
We’re using a 1080p HD Vimeo preset that outputs a video we can drop into a PowerPoint presentation right from our computer.
You’ve placed your company’s logo on billboards in the world’s largest cities in just a few minutes.
