Issue
Adobe has released a hotfix to address security vulnerabilities for Adobe Digital Editions. This update resolves a moderate vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary file system write, privilege escalation, and command execution vulnerability.

Solution
- Close Adobe Digital Editions, if the application is running on your machine.
- Download the recommended Adobe Digital Editions (version 4.5.11.187658) from the location.
- Once the download is complete, open the file to run the installation wizard. See, installation issues if any.
- Launch Adobe Digital Editions.
- To verify if the application is updated, Click Adobe Digital Editions > About Adobe Digital Editions from the menu bar.
