Copy and paste edit settings

You can copy-paste edit settings between individual images and batch-apply edit settings to multiple photos. 

  1. Open an image in the Develop module, and select Copy.

  2. In the Copy Settings dialog box, select all the settings you want to copy to another photo. You can also choose a subset of the Subset menu. 

    • All - This will select all the available settings. 
    • None - This will deselect all the available settings. 
    • Modified - This will select all the settings modified in the current selected image. 
    • Default - This will select the default settings. 
    • Save - This will help you customize a subset and save it. 
    The Copy settings dialog box in Lightroom Classic is open. The subset section is used to select a set of predefined settings that you can copy and paste.
    The Default settings of the image are selected in the Copy Settings dialog box using the Default subset option.

    Note

    The subset menu is available when you perform these actions: Sync settings, Sync copies, Sync snapshots, and create and update presets.

  3. Select Copy.

  4. In the Develop module, open the image where you want to paste the settings, and select Paste.

  5. To paste the copied settings to multiple photos in the Develop module, select the images in the Filmstrip, and select Paste
