How to use recipient groups in Salesforce | Adobe Sign

Objective

This article helps you to understand how to use the recipient groups in Salesforce.

Environment

Salesforce version 18 or higher.

Steps

  1. Enable the following field values added in version 18:

    Navigate to Setup > Create > Objects

    Object: Add Recipient (echosign_dev1__Recipient_Template__c)

    Fields:

    • Group_Recipient__c

    Values to add:

    New Picklist Field values:

    Recipient_Type__c - Added: Group

    Object: Recipient (echosign_dev1__SIGN_Recipients__c)

    Fields:

    • Recipient_Message__c
    • Group_Recipient__c

    Values to add:

    New Picklist Field values:

    Recipient_Type__c - Added: Group

  2. To specify the group members, specify it in Salesforce public groups.

    Navigate to: Setup > Manage Users > Public groups.

  3. Go to Agreements > New Agreement and select the Recipient type group as the following:

  4. Search for the group created in the Step 2:
