This article helps you to understand how to use the recipient groups in Salesforce.
Salesforce version 18 or higher.
Enable the following field values added in version 18:
Navigate to Setup > Create > Objects
Object: Add Recipient (echosign_dev1__Recipient_Template__c)

New Picklist Field values:
Recipient_Type__c - Added: Group
Object: Recipient (echosign_dev1__SIGN_Recipients__c)

Recipient_Type__c - Added: Group
To specify the group members, specify it in Salesforce public groups.
Navigate to: Setup > Manage Users > Public groups.
Go to Agreements > New Agreement and select the Recipient type group as the following:
