On the Firefly homepage, select Text to video.
Learn how to upload a reference video and match its camera motion in the generated video.
Try it in the app
Generate a video that matches the camera motion of your reference clip.
When generating a video with the Text to video feature, you can upload a reference video to extract its camera movements—like pans, zooms, tilts, and motion path to guide the generation. This helps the new video match the cinematic style and dynamic flow of the reference.
Have a motion reference video ready. It should be 5 to 10 seconds long and under 200 MB in size.
In the General section, select Model as Firefly Video.
Select the resolution and aspect ratio for the generated video from the available options.
Frames per second will be the default 24 FPS, and Duration will be 5 seconds.
In the Camera section, under Motion reference, use the Upload video option to add a reference video for camera motion.
The reference video must be between 5 and 10 seconds long and under 200 MB in size. If the video exceeds 5 seconds, only the first 5 seconds will be used as the reference for video generation.
If you want to specify the visual style for your generated video, choose from the available style presets.
Add a seed number in the Advanced section if you want to control randomness and generate similar videos.
On the Generate video page, enter a text prompt in the Prompt field.
Use the Enhance prompt option next to the Generate button to improve your original prompt.
Once the video is generated, you have the option to preview and download it.
You can also hover your cursor over the generated video to preview, download, rate, and add sound effects using text prompts or your own voice recording using the Generate sound effects option.
