Issue
The Software License Agreement (SLA or EULA) reappears after you click Accept when launching a Creative Suite 5 product.
Solutions
Solution 1. Install the Adobe Creative Suite 5 product from a new user account.
Occasionally, a user account becomes corrupted and prevents the installer from accessing or creating the necessary files and folders. Create an account with administrative permissions, log in to it, and then rerun the installer.
- Restart Windows in a modified mode (Windows 7 and Windows Vista)
- Disable startup items and services (Windows XP)
- Creating a new user account in Mac OS on the Apple support website. If you need additional assistance, contact your system administrator.
Note: On Mac OS, you can also try installing the Adobe Creative Suite 5 product from a root user account. See Enabling and using the root user in Mac OS X on the Apple support website for more information.
Solution 2. Verify permissions to the Adobe database files.
Adobe folder permissions
Set the permissions for Adobe folder correctly. Verify that the following users and groups have these permissions:
Windows
- Administrators (Full Control)
- SYSTEM (Full Control)
Mac OS X
- User (Full Control)
- Group (Full Control)
- Everyone (Full Control)
Adobe folder locations
- Windows 32 bit: \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\
- Windows 64 bit: \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\
- Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/
For information on verifying permissions, select your operating system below. You need the folder permission and location information below to complete the steps.
