Quickly generate images in lower resolution and then upscale them later to download in full resolution.

Try it in the app
Generate images for rapid ideation in a few simple steps.

With Fast mode in Text to image, you can quickly ideate, generate, and compare image variations with a 512x512 resolution. You can then download the images as they are or use the Upscale option to convert them to 2K resolution for better quality. Fast mode is best used for simple topics, backgrounds, most illustrations, and close portraits.

On the Firefly homepage, select Generate in the left panel and then Generate image.

In the Model section, use the dropdown menu and select Firefly Image 3.

Enable Fast mode to generate lower-resolution images quickly and upscale them later.

In the Text to image module, under General settings, the Model dropdown menu is open, displaying options such as Firefly Image 3, Firefly Image 2, and Fast mode. Currently, Firefly Image 3 is selected with Fast mode enabled.
