Can't check in files | RoboSource Control | 64-bit machines

Issue

If you are running RoboSource Control on 64-bit machines, you can encounter problems when checking in files.

Solution

  1. Stop running instances of RoboSource Control and RoboHelp HTML.
  2. Stop the service RSO3 MiddleTier Service.
    1. Click Start. From the Start menu, select Run.
    2. Type services.msc and press Enter.
    3. In the Services console, select RSO3 MiddleTier Service. Right-click and select Stop.

  3. Click the link below to download the RSO3MiddleTierService.exe file. Replace the RSO3MiddleTierService.exe file in the RoboSource installation folder with the downloaded file.

  4. Start the service RSO3 MiddleTier Service. In the Services console, select RSO3 MiddleTier Service. Right-click and select Start.
