Explore the 3D viewport and navigate around the scene.
What you'll need
What you learned: 3D space and navigation
- Aero uses a three-dimensional viewport with the:
- Z-axis pointing forward
- Y-axis pointing upward
- X-axis point leftward
- Camera > Camera reset will reset the viewport back to the original orientation.
- Camera > Frame all (shift+F) will frame the scene within the viewport.
- Orbit, pan, and dolly will move you around the 3D viewport.
- Rotate, move, and scale will affect the selected object in the scene.
- The 3D-gizmo is a quick way to rotate, move or scale an object.
- An object’s pivot point can be changed in the properties panel.
Pro tip
- Camera reset, along with Frame all, can get you out of any viewport entanglements.
