    Select the Contributor Account tab

    Note:

Instead of going to the Contributor Account tab, you can decide to upload an image at this stage. In that case, you will be prompted to upload your ID once you complete your image submission.

  5. Verify your identity: At the top of the Contributor Account tab, find the notice asking you to upload your government issued ID. Select Let's Go

    Verify your ID
Select Let's Go to upload your ID
  6. Upload your government-issued ID: Before you submit content, you are required to upload a photo of a valid government-issued photo ID as a JPEG file (for example, a passport or driver’s license) to verify your identity and your age.

If we cannot verify your identity with the supplied information, we will ask you to load it again.

    Common issues with IDs:

    • ID has expired,
    • The name on the ID and the contributor account didn’t match,
    • The ID you uploaded isn’t an acceptable form of government-issued ID—for example, a student ID from a college is not an appropriate form of ID.

We are not able to license your content until we can verify your identity with a valid government-issued photo ID.

    ID prompt
Click Select ID (JPEG) and navigate to your ID

    Note:

Your government-issued ID is transferred and processed via https and encrypted and stored on our servers in the European Union. Adobe employees located in either North America or the European Union manually access and review contributor government-issued IDs . Government-issued IDs are then deleted from our servers within 24 hours of review.

  7. After we validate your ID, you can start uploading media.

Information for Fotolia contributors

If you are a Fotolia contributor, sync your accounts to access your existing catalog of images via the Adobe Stock Contributor portal. You won’t lose access to your Fotolia login after your accounts are synced and you don’t need to load your content again. This process links your Fotolia account information to your Adobe ID. Once your account is synced, you are able to monitor sales, request payouts, upload, and index your content from both Fotolia and the Adobe Stock Contributor portal.

Note:

The sync feature is only offered when you sign in or create an Adobe ID on the Adobe Stock contributor portal for the first time. It is not possible to sync accounts later.

  1. Visit the Contributor portal and sign in with your Adobe ID.

  2. If you don’t have an Adobe ID, sign up for one first.

  3. If the email address you use to log in to Fotolia matches the email of your Adobe ID, your account is automatically synced the first time you sign into the Adobe Stock portal.

If your email is different, you are asked if you are registered as a contributor on the Fotolia site. To sync your accounts, enter your Fotolia login .
