Group objects

Group objects so that you can move, place or assign behaviors to many assets at the same time, dramatically speeding your editing workflow.

Updated Cloud Document interface and performance 

Improved navigation of the Home tab across iOS and desktop – easily find past documents and check out new artist work on the Discover tab. Includes back-end updates to speed syncing of your documents in the cloud. Conflict avoidance upgrades make working on the same document on multiple devices smoother.

Pins for Move to, Aim, Orbit and follow actions

Pins enable authors to direct the movement of objects in a scene. Drop a pin in the location where you want an object to end up. Pins are visible only at authoring time and can be used in behavior sequences containing the Move to, Aim, Orbit and Follow actions.

Enhanced shadow visibility  

Shadows are now cast on a wider surface area so they do not appear clipped.

The October 2020 release of Aero mobile (iOS) has the following new features and enhancements:

GIF / PNG sequences

With support of animated GIF and PNG sequences, unleash your creativity and bring your images to life.

Multitrack animation

Import asset with multiple embedded animation clips, or add extra compatible animation clips to existing assets.

Publish to Behance

You can see what other creators have made in Aero by opening the Aero Mobile app and from Home accessing Discover. You can also see the same creations via the Behance web interface. 

Behance Projects published from Aero include AR which can be launched from a Project’s page using the Aero button. This will open up the creation in Aero’s AR viewing mode.

Share link updates

You can share your AR experiences with other people to view on their own mobile device in the Aero iOS app. You can now customize your thumbnail image here as well. Share a link is accessible from both Edit and Preview. Tap Share > Share a link > Create link.

QR codes

A QR code is an image that allows the camera to read data from a picture. Your audience can launch an Aero experience by simply pointing their mobile device at the QR code with the camera app open. 

With Aero, you can generate a QR code that is associated with your Aero experience shared link. Share the QR code digitally or print it out. Create a QR code for your Aero Share link from Edit and Preview. Tap Share > Share a link > Create link > Show QR code> Share QR code.
