Release Notes on the After Effects release, including update process, system requirements, installation, licensing, known issues, and links to online resources and customer support.

After Effects is the industry standard for motion graphics and visual effects, used by animators, designers and compositors to create sophisticated graphics and compelling video.

Latest version

The latest/most current version of Adobe After Effects is the October 2021 release (version 22.0). It offers faster renders and previews using Multi-Frame Rendering, and a reimagined render queue with the ability to receive remote notifications once render is complete. Additionally, speculative rendering can cache frames when After Effects is idle, and rendering with Adobe Media Encoder is now upto 3X faster.
