Close the project and the browser tab, and then reopen it. Our recovery mechanism will start when the project is reopened.
Adobe Podcast is a web-based tool that lets you record, transcribe, edit, and share crisp and clear audio – all in your browser.
Enhance Speech
Enhance Speech is language agnostic and does not generate or translate across different languages. The results often depend on the speaker's audibility and the amount of background noise. It’s important to note that clearer and more polished inputs (speaker pronunciation and enunciation) will produce better outputs. This tool enhances audio by filtering out noise and artifacts, adjusting pitch and volume levels, and normalizing the audio.
First, check the supported formats to ensure you uploaded an accepted file type. If that is not the issue, check the daily limits enforced by your current plan. You can do this by navigating to your avatar and/or initials in the top right corner and viewing Enhance Speech usage.
Studio
If your recording fails to upload after you end the session, you can try these steps to recover it:

Adobe Podcast Studio lets you record remotely with others. Each participant’s audio is captured directly in their browser and continuously saved throughout the session, so your recording is protected even if someone’s connection drops.
You can also choose to record video by enabling camera permissions—video is optional and not required to join or record a session.
The audio you hear in real time is optimized for streaming, so it may differ slightly from the final recorded audio. After your session ends, you can download separate, high-quality tracks for each speaker, along with recorded video if enabled.

Yes. You can upload multi-track audio and video files to Studio, and each track will remain separate for editing. Once transcribed, you can edit your audio/video using text-based editing—simply delete text in the transcript to remove the corresponding audio or video from your project.
You can access Adobe Podcast from https://podcast.adobe.com/.
Adobe Podcast supports speaker detection (speaker diarization). After you upload your audio or video file:
-
After you upload your audio or video file, select Transcribe.
-
When the Detect speakers? prompt appears, select Detect speakers to automatically identify and label different speakers in your transcript.
If you don’t select the Detect speakers option, the transcript will default to a single speaker.
Some users may not see the Detect speakers option depending on their plan or region. The ability to detect speakers is not supported in EDU plans.
Currently, you can only enhance at the project level.
Troubleshooting
If you’re experiencing issues, try the following steps:
- Check your internet connection.
- Update your browser to the latest version and refer to system requirements.
- Check Chrome microphone permissions.
- If you're using browser extensions or VPN connections, you might want to temporarily disable them to avoid interference, as they can disrupt connections or cause conflicts.
- If Adobe Podcast has been open in a browser tab for an extended period of time, try refreshing the page.
- If you're hitting any feature limits, please check the daily limits enforced by your current plan.
If problems persist, contact our team.
If you’re encountering a Connection Failed message, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:
-
Check browser extensions and ad blockers. Ensure that none of your browser extensions are causing the issue. Try removing any extensions that you recently installed, after which you started experiencing this issue, and then sign in again. Additionally, if you're using ad blockers, ensure you don't have any custom rules that are intercepting requests to Adobe.
-
Verify VPN settings: If you’re using a VPN, it might be affecting your connection. Temporarily disable the VPN and check if the issue persists.
-
Check firewall and network proxy settings. If you have configured firewalls and network proxies that block access to essential Adobe services, it can cause issues with Adobe Podcast.
-
Reach to our team. If this issue persists after trying these steps, and you're willing to meet with a member of the Adobe Podcast team to troubleshoot, please drop us a note here to connect with a team member.
