Learn how to find and replace colors to maintain visual consistency in InDesign.
You can quickly find and replace colors in your InDesign document with the Find/Change panel. Locate and swap specific colors with just a few clicks to save time and ensure design consistency.

To locate a color, from the Swatches panel, select Find this color. To search and replace in more than one document, ensure that all these documents are open in InDesign.

Select the Find Color dropdown, and select the color you want to find.

Select the Change Color dropdown and select from the saved color swatches.
You can also add and select a new swatch by choosing Select New Color Swatch > Add.

Select Find Next.
Select Change, Change All, or Change/Find to replace the found text.
