Select Creative production on the Firefly homepage.
Resize multiple images simultaneously using focal point control and Generative Expand to define new output dimensions.
Select the Resize module.
In the Upload images section, under Original images, use the From device option to upload images or drag and drop them into the Images tab.
You can also use Connect to storage to directly upload images from cloud storage, such as AEM.
Each upload can include up to 1,000 images in JPEG or PNG format. Individual file sizes must not exceed 100 MB.
After the images are uploaded, they will be displayed under the Images tab. Each image will feature an overlay highlighting the focal area, which identifies the subject detected as the primary point of interest.
If you want to edit the focal area in the images, select the image and then Edit focal area.
You can also use the Adjust Focal Points button in the upper-right corner to modify focal points for uploaded images.
In the Edit focal point view, use the crop handles to adjust the size of the crop box, and drag it to the area of the image you want to emphasize. Select Back to exit the view and return to the gallery of uploaded images.
Use the image list displayed at the bottom of the page to quickly navigate between uploads and edit focal points for each image individually, ensuring accurate subject placement during resizing.
In the Set layouts section, under Sizes and focal points, you can browse and select from the preset sizes for image resizing.
To add custom sizes, enter the desired width and height, then select the
icon. Each custom size you add will appear in the list of selected sizes for image resizing, with a checkbox that lets you easily select or deselect it as needed.
When you are done specifying sizes for image resizing, a composition layout appears for each one. A dot indicates the position of the focal point within the final output image, and it is applied to all images that share the same size.
To adjust the focal point for any of the added sizes, simply select and drag it to your desired position on the grid.
To review the focal points for the final outputs, go to the Previews tab and use the image list at the bottom of the page to navigate between your uploads.
If any uploaded images are too small or do not meet the required dimensions after resizing, the resulting empty areas will appear as transparent boxes. When the Apply GenExpand option is enabled, these empty spaces will be automatically filled using generative AI.
- The Apply GenExpand option is enabled by default.
- You can select Preview with GenExpand to view how the output will look after GenExpand is applied. Please note that generating the preview may take a few seconds.
Once you have reviewed all images and made the necessary adjustments, you can verify the number of output post-processing items and select Continue.
In the Final processing details dialog box, enter a name for the job, select the file types from PSD, JPG, and PNG, and select Process.
The Total files indication in the Final processing details dialog box displays the number of output files generated after accounting for the number of images uploaded, the selected sizes, and the chosen output file types.
You will receive an email with the link to download the processed videos. You can also use the Job log tab to view the status and download the outputs.
