Learn about how Adobe Connect provides assistance for visual, auditory, and mobility needs, and how Adobe Connect complies with key standards.
Adobe Connect allows trainers, presenters, and meeting hosts to deliver engaging and informative experiences. Adobe endeavors to include presenters and participants with disabilities by improving the accessibility of Adobe Connect. The software is continuously enhanced to meet the needs of all types of users and to adhere to the worldwide standards that include individuals with visual, auditory, mobility, or other impairments.
Adobe Connect publishes conformance information that describes the standards it adheres to, outlines the accessibility features in the product, and describes the level of compliance. The accessibility conformance reports help Adobe Connect users understand the level of adherence to various standards. The enhancements done in Adobe Connect let all users use the interfaces easily via keyboard, screen reader, magnifiers, and other assistive technology.
Adobe Connect provides varying levels of support for the following standards:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
- Revised Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- Accessibility Initiative – Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) by W3C.
- EN 301 549.
To read individual reports with details of the level of compliance, see the following Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs).
Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs)
