Learn how to enhance generated speech by adding emotion and expression to selected parts of the uploaded text.
When using Generate Speech (beta), you can specify the tone of selected words or phrases and make sure that the generated speech reflects the intended emotion and style. This makes the generated speech contextually appropriate and engaging.
Before you begin:
Enter speech text or upload a text file, then customize the voice, accent, and other settings.
From the panel that appears, you can select from the following categories.
- Neutral
- Positive
- Negative
- Expressive
When you specify a tone for the text, it gets underlined and is preceded by a colored label indicating the selected tone.
- Grey for neutral tone
- Green for positive tone
- Red for negative tone
- Blue for expressive tone
To edit the applied tone, select the tone label and choose a different one from the available options.
Select Generate.
Preview the generated speech and select Download to save it in MP3 or WAV format.
