Adobe has discovered the compatibility issue listed below with running applications with macOS 10.14 Mojave.
Adobe strongly recommends that customers update to the latest version of the application (CC 2019) release prior to updating to macOS 10.14 Mojave. Older versions of the application were not designed, nor extensively tested to run on macOS Mojave. Additionally, we strongly recommend that customers do their own testing on a non-production partition to ensure that new operating systems work with their current hardware and drivers. You may wish to remain on an older version of the OS that is compatible with prior versions of our software.
|Premiere Pro, After Effects, Character Animator, Prelude, Audition version 2019 or earlier||macOS 10.14 Mojave|
Adobe has discovered the following compatibility issues when running applications (CC 2019) and earlier releases on macOS 10.14 Mojave.
Application wants to access the microphone
Applies to Premiere Pro, Prelude, Character Animator, Audition
Additionally, Character Animator requests permission to access the camera. The application displays the following message.
Dark Appearance setting does not affect all of the user interface
Applies to Premiere Pro, After Effects, Character Animator, Prelude
When you enable Dark Mode appearance in the macOS System Preferences > General dialog, the title bar at the top of application's windows continues to have a light theme.
The following issues occur when you use eyedroppers:
- When you use eye droppers in Premiere Pro to sample colors, you do not get a preview of the colors in the color swatch.
- When you use the eyedropper to sample a color for a title in the Essential Graphics panel, the eyedropper does not function.
If you are using Metal GPU rendering, and apply a Morph Cut, then Premiere Pro does not use Metal GPU for rendering, instead it defaults to Software rendering.
When you quit Premiere Pro after creating a project, the Dvaaudioscan helper app does not quit. Upon shutdown, the system will shut down with the Dvaaudioscan icon visible in the Dock. It will also reappear in the Dock upon reboot.
When you launch After Effects for the first time, an OS dialog opens, asking to control the finder, "Adobe After Effects CC 2018” would like to control the application “Finder”.
The issue does not occur on subsequent launches.
When a task in After Effects crashes and produces the Debug Event assert, the Ignore pop-up menu and Copy to callstack check box are missing from the dialog.
