Learn how to rotate, pan, zoom, and reset your canvas in Photoshop on the iPad.
While working with Photoshop on the iPad, you can bring to focus and take a closer look at a part of your document by zooming in and reduce magnification as you zoom out. You can also rotate your canvas and pan around to view other portions of your document.
Tap the canvas with any two fingers and move them in the direction you want to rotate your canvas on the iPad screen while you work. This intuitive feature allows you to work on your documents in the angle or direction that feels the most natural to you.
Also, you can use the quick-pinch gesture to automatically set rotation back to zero and zoom to fill.
Tap the canvas with any two fingers. While pressing the two fingers to the canvas, simultaneously slide in any direction to move around the canvas.
To zoom your selection, do any of the following:
Note: The maximum sustained zoom level in Photoshop on mobile is 25,600%.
Usually, the pan and zoom actions are best achieved with your thumb and index fingers.
Double tap anywhere in the canvas to fit canvas to the screen and recenter.
Note: The reset canvas gesture works only when you are working with the Move, Transform, and Place Photo tools.
