Add grain

Learn how to add grain to your footage to give it texture and a film-like appearance in Premiere on iPhone.

Adding grain can enhance the visual feel of your video, making it look more natural or stylistic. You can control how much grain is applied and adjust its appearance for the desired effect.

Tap the photo you want to edit in the timeline.

From the options at the bottom of the screen, tap Adjust to open the adjustment panel.

In the adjustment panel, select the Grain tab.

Adjust the following settings to customize the grain effect:

  • Grain: Controls the amount of grain added to the footage.
  • Size: Adjusts the size of the grain particles.
  • Roughness: Changes how coarse or fine the grain looks.
