Sharing Animation Assets using CC Libraries

Use this article to learn how to share symbols and animation documents using CC Libraries.

Symbols are the basic unit of reuse in Animate and can contain all types of animations created using Animate. From this release onwards, you can share symbols or entire animations via CC Libraries. Multiple animators can collaborate seamlessly and simplify the designer-developer workflow in game or application development. You can use linked assets to ensure that the assets are in sync with the original assets. You can also seamlessly import the animation assets via CC Libraries across supporting applications such as Muse and Indesign.

Uploading and sharing symbols to CC Libraries

  1. Select Window> CC libraries or select the CC Libraries icon.

  2. Select the symbol on Stage and click the + button in the footer of the CC Libraries panel to display a pop-up window.
