Install Creative Cloud Packager

The bit version of Adobe Presenter plug-in depends on the bit version of MS Office and not the Windows OS. For example, it is common for users to have 32-bit MS Office on 64-bit Windows (Win7 and Win 8).

To create a deployment package for Presenter 11:

  1. Download Adobe Creative Cloud Packager (CCP) from the Adobe Licensing Website (LWS).

    Alternatively, you can also download it by visiting the following link- Download CCP (for Windows OS)

  2. Install Creative Cloud Packager.

    To launch CCP, click Start menu > All Programs > Creative Cloud Packager.

  3. Click Creative Cloud Package for Enterprise and sign in with your Adobe ID.

  4. Click Create Package.

  5. Specify a name for the package that you are creating. Choose a location to save the package and ensure that the license type is Serial Number License.

    Choose either 32-bit package for 32-bit Operating System and 64-bit for 64-bit Operating System and click Next.

    In Presenter 11.1, a single ESD is created, which can install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Presenter depending on the MS Office bits, which are installed.

    The package to create now depends on the OS (32-bit/64-bit) on which the package is installed.

    So, if a 64-bit package is created, it can be installed on 64-bit OS with either MS Office 32-bit or 64-bit.

    If a 32-bit package is created, it can be installed on 32-bit OS with 32-bit MS Office.

  6. Enter the Serial key for Adobe Presenter and click Next.

  7. To create the package, choose Adobe Presenter 11.1.0 & updates and Media Encoder CC & Updates.

    You can also choose a language from the available language list, however, this will be used if the serial key is multi-language.

    Match OS language option is used to install Presenter, based on the locale of the Operating System.

  8. Click Build.

Deploy the package silently

  1. Launch the command prompt in administrative mode. 

  2. Specify the path to the  Build folder of the created package.

    For example, if the package is saved on the Desktop, specify the path as:

    C:\Users\[username]\Desktop\package folder\Build 

  3. To deploy the package silently, type the command,

    msiexec.exe /i  packagename.msi  /quiet

  4. To monitor the silent installation, launch the Task Manager and you can see that there are three processes of “msiexec.exe” that are running.

    One is under [System] and the rest are under [username].

  5. The installation completes once both processes of msiexec.exe under [username] completes.

Deploy package in Exceptions folder

In Presenter 11, a single ESD is created which can install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Presenter depending on the MS office bits which are installed.

The package to create now depends on the OS (32 bit/64 bit) on which the package is installed according to the CCP theory.

So if a 64-bit package is created, it can be installed on 64-bit OS with either MS Office 32-bit or 64-bit. If a 32-bit package is created, it can be installed on 32-bit OS with 32-bit MS Office.

  1. Launch the command prompt in administrative mode.

  2. Specify the path to the Exceptions folder of the created package.

    For example, if the package is saved on the Desktop, then specify the path as,

    C:\Users\[username]\Desktop\ package folder /Exceptions

  3. To deploy the exceptions silently, type the following command,

    ExceptionDeployer --workflow=install --mode=post
