Create a timeline in your project in a few simple steps.
The timeline in Firefly video editor (beta) is the main area where you arrange and edit your video. It appears as a horizontal workspace that shows your video, audio, and images in the order they play over time. You can use the playhead (a vertical line that moves across the timeline) to move through your project and see exactly what happens at each moment. This is where you arrange your clips, trim or cut parts, and build your final video.
On the New project dialog box, type a project name and then select Create project or select a previously created project. Once the project opens, add media to the timeline to activate the panel.
If you're already working on a timeline and want to start a new one, go to the timeline picker in the upper-left corner of the timeline panel and select New timeline.
The new timeline will be created in the same project, and you'll be able to access all the assets previously added in the Project media panel.
