ColdFusion 10 Mandatory Update

All ColdFusion updates are now signed with the new code signing certificate because of a code signing certificate revocation. This mandatory Update ensures that your current installation of ColdFusion 10 is updated with the new code signing certificate. This update is also required for proper functioning of the auto update functionality in ColdFusion 10. Adobe strongly recommends that you apply this update.

If you have ColdFusion 10 Update 1 or ColdFusion 10 Update 2 already installed, then applying this Mandatory Update doesn't affect your current ColdFusion setup. However, it ensures that you can install any future updates to ColdFusion 10.
If you don't have ColdFusion 10 Update 1 or ColdFusion 10 Update 2 already installed, first install the ColdFusion 10 Mandatory Update. Then, you can install ColdFusion 10 Update 1, ColdFusion 10 Update 2, or any future updates.

Download the ColdFusion 10 Mandatory Update from the ColdFusion Downloads page. Follow the instructions specified in Server Update section to install the Update.

Note: Ensure that you have Administrator privileges on the computer before installing this Update.

To confirm if the patch has been applied successfully, launch the ColdFusion Administrator. Verify that the ColdFusion build number is ColdFusion 10,283111 or ColdFusion 10,282913.

(For ColdFusion 10 Japanese only) To confirm if the patch has been applied successfully, launch the ColdFusion Administrator, and verify if the ColdFusion build number is ColdFusion 10,283111.

(For ColdFusion 10 Japanese only) If you applied the ColdFusion 10 Mandatory Update on or before October 15 2012, the build number is ColdFusion 10, 282462. Although, this build number is incorrect, the ColdFusion 10 Mandatory Update applied to your ColdFusion server is functional. Adobe is aware of this issue, and recommends that you install ColdFusion 10 Mandatory Update again to update the build number.
