Apply gradients on stroke

Learn how to apply gradients to strokes in Illustrator.
Select Window > Gradient.
In the Gradient panel, select Stroke (X) to target the Stroke.
Select the desired Gradient from the Gradient panel.
Select one of the given Stroke styles as required:
- Apply gradient within stroke : The Gradient is distributed evenly inside the width of the stroke.
- Apply gradient along stroke : The Gradient follows the path of the stroke.
- Apply gradient across stroke : The Gradient spans across the thickness of the stroke.
