Improve image quality with Generative Upscale

Learn how to improve image quality and clarity in Lightroom.

  1. Open a photo in the Detail view.

  2. Select Photo > Generative Upscale

  3. In the Generative Upscale dialog box, select the desired output scale (2x or 4x).

  4. Select Create Stack to stack the upscaled image. 

  5. Select Upscale.

Note

Generative Upscale consumes a different number of credits depending on the upscaled file's output size. If the chosen scale factor exceeds a model’s limit, reduce the scale factor or resize the image.

  • Topaz Gigapixel (files up to 25 megapixels) = 10 credits 
  • Topaz Gigapixel (25-56 megapixels) = 20 credits
