Apply to All option doesn't appear to replace multiple missing links

Learn how to fix multiple missing links in an Illustrator document if the warning message doesn't have the Apply to All option.

In Illustrator 28.5 and later versions, if you have missing links in your Illustrator document, the warning message you get won't have the Apply to All option.

When you relink a missing file to your Illustrator document, use the option Search for Missing Links in This Folder instead. This option automatically searches for other missing files in the same folder and relinks them:

  1. Select Replace in the warning message.

    New warning message that appears if there are missing links in the Illustrator document.

  2. Navigate to the folder containing the missing file and select the file.

  3. In the dialog box, select Search for Missing Links in This Folder, and then select Place.

    Select Search for Missing Links in This Folder to relink all the missing links in your document automatically.
