Adobe Camera Raw 8.7 adds support for HiDPI monitors on Windows. Do the following to enable this feature:

You can now modify Graduated and Radial Filter masks using brush controls. Once you've added a mask, to access brush controls, select the Brush option next to New/Edit. Alternatively, use the Shift+K keyboard shortcut.
As appropriate, use the + and–brushes to add or remove from the existing Radial or Graduated Filter mask.

Mask visualization is now available for Graduated and Radial Filters. Use the Mask option at the bottom of the local corrections pane. Alternatively, press Y to toggle the Mask setting.

Support for several new cameras and lens profiles
Adobe Camera Raw 8.4 provides advanced Preview controls that let you quickly compare the Before/After states of an image:
Save the current settings as the Before state of the image
Swap the current settings and the saved Before state settings. The current settings are saved as the Before state and the settings previously saved as the Before state are applied to the image.
Select a mode for displaying the preview:
• See only After settings applied to the image
• Before/After settings applied to the left and right halves of the image
• Before/After settings applied to the whole image and displayed side-by-side
• Before/After settings applied to the top and bottom halves of the image
• Before/After settings applied to the whole image and displayed vertically for quick comparison

Adobe Camera Raw 8.4 lets you correct red eyes in both human and pet eyes. In Adobe Camera Raw, click the Red Eye Removal icon (
) and then select Pet Eye from the Type pop up menu. For more information, see Correct red eyes.
Adobe Camera Raw 8.4 provides camera color profiles for Fujifilm X-Trans sensor cameras. These color matching profiles include Fujifilm Provia, Fujifilm Velvia, Fujifilm Astia, and Fujifilm Monochrome.

Automatic straightening of an image through one of the following three interactions:
Whites and Blacks now support Auto Levels–like functionality when you double-click the sliders while keeping the Shift key pressed (Shift-double-click).
Auto Temperature and Auto Tint functionality. Shift-double-click within the image preview to invoke this functionality.
Option to choose a background color for the work area and toggle the visibility of the hairline frame around the image. Right-click outside the image in the work area and select an option from the pop-up menu.
Option-click shortcut support for the Synchronize, New Preset, Save Settings, and Copy/Paste (Bridge) dialog boxes. When you option-click a checkbox, it is selected exclusively. You can Option-click again to toggle to the previous checkbox state.

Soft proofing from within the ACR dialog. You can now choose an ICC color profile and simulate additional factors like rendering intent and the paper and ink. These options can now be applied to the photograph through the ACR dialog, even before you open it in Photoshop.
ICC-based color spaces support from within the ACR dialog. The ACR dialog now allows you to preview your photographs with arbitrary ICC-based output color spaces. Available color spaces include grayscale, RGB, Lab, and CMYK color spaces.
Image sizing is now more flexible, with the ACR dialog providing multiple options to resize a photograph. These options are placed within the Image Sizing section, immediately beneath the Color Space section.
Presets. Store commonly used settings as a preset. Save frequently applied settings from the Workflow Options or Save Options dialog as a preset, and then apply the preset on multiple photos with ease.
Cropping follows a modified workflow with the introduction of the new Image Sizing workflow. Use the Image Sizing option in the Workflow Options and Save Options dialogs to specify a desired absolute image size.
